My fascination with photography began when I was a small child. My grandparents had a vast array of old black and white family photographs that lined the walls in every corner of their house and were categorized in countless albums. My grandmother was always flipping through photographs and studying family history trying to trace our family heritage. Continuing the process of recording history, at 14 years of age, I picked up my father's Yashica 35mm camera and became captivated by the creative process of photography. My focus as a photographer is my desire to capture the beauty I see in the world and to communicate that beauty through the photographic image. My personal goal is to find gracefulness in all that I photograph. The strength in my photography is using it to identify my love for life as I photograph people, places & forms and finding the relationships that bind them together.
